I like these grand old town markets, and farmers’ markets in general, because they make you forget about the sterile mass-production-based environments of supermarkets. The Lancaster Central Market in DutchCountry, Pennsylvania, was a great find with chowders, soups, empanadas and other street foods being sold hot by vendors along the sides of the market.
